[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Victor 5-3-1999. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The Victor Town Board hereby establishes a committee to be named the Victor Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee to serve both the Town and Village of Victor.
A. 
The membership of this newly created Advisory Committee shall consist of five members, with a minium of two members who shall be residents of the village and two members who shall be residents of the Town, with an at-large position which may be filled by a resident of either the Town or the village.
B. 
Terms shall be established as follows:[1]

C. 
As terms expire and/or vacancies occur, the Committee shall forward their recommendations for membership to the appropriate Town or Village Board. Reappointments shall be for terms of five years.
D. 
The appointment of members to the two Town positions shall be by the Victor Town Board; the appointment of members to the two village positions shall be by the Victor Village Board of Trustees; appointment to the one at-large position shall be approved by both the Victor Town Board and the Village Board of Trustees.
A. 
The Town shall provide the services of a facilitator to help the Committee with the development of its goals, objectives and a plan of action with the Director of Recreation, the Senior Citizen Director attending, ex-officio, and the Town Clerk, or her/his designee to serve as secretary at each meeting.
B. 
The results of the facilitation process shall include, but not be limited to, issues such as frequency and method of reporting to the Town and Village Boards, revenue opportunities, the process for selection of and terms for the Committee Chair, budget considerations, program recommendations and implementation strategies.
This chapter shall become in effect upon approval by both the Victor Village Board of Trustees and the Victor Town Board.
Copies shall be sent to all the appropriate persons.
