A. 
The following statutes defining offenses against the peace and good order of the state are adopted by reference to define offenses against the peace and good order of the Village, provided the penalty for commission of such offenses hereunder shall be limited to a forfeiture imposed under Chapter 1, General Provisions, § 1-19 of this Code.

Adoption of provisions by reference.

(1) 
Except as otherwise specified herein, the provisions of ch. 941 through 948, Wis. Stats. (with the exception of any section which provides for penalties above and beyond the authority of the Village Code; also see s. 66.0107, Wis. Stats.) are hereby adopted and made a part of the Village of Cottage Grove Municipal Code as if they were fully reprinted herein.
(2) 
A violation of any such provisions shall constitute a violation of this subsection.
(3) 
Anyone who violates any provision of this subsection shall be subject to the penalty and forfeiture provisions of Chapter 1, General Provisions, § 1-19, and any other applicable provisions of the Village of Cottage Grove Municipal Code.
A. 
No person shall throw or shoot any object, arrow, stone, snowball or other missile or projectile, by hand or by any other means, at any person or at, in or into any building, street, sidewalk, alley, highway, park, playground or other public place within the Village, provided that bow and arrow and target ranges may be operated within the Village on permit issued by the Village Board.
B. 
This section shall not apply:

(1) 
To any recreational or instructional programs sponsored by the Village of Cottage Grove or the Monona Grove School District.
(2) 
To a person using any of the aforementioned on private property under the person's control when such use does not endanger another person nor does it infringe on any other person's property.
No owner, lessee or occupant of any room or hall used for public meetings shall permit the approaches, aisles, halls, passageways or aisles leading to or between seats to be obstructed with any benches, chairs, stools or by any other means whereby the free passage to, through or from such room shall be in any manner impeded.
No person shall leave outside of any building or dwelling, in a place accessible to children, any abandoned, unattended or discarded icebox, refrigerator or any other container of any kind which has an airtight snap lock or other device thereon without first removing such snap lock or doors from such icebox, refrigerator or container. (See also Chapter 224, Nuisances, of this Code).
Any person who violates any provisions of this article shall be subject to a penalty as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, § 1-19 of this Code.
