The Council Chambers of the Municipal Building of the Municipality
of Monroeville is hereby designated as a no-smoking area, and smoking
of any tobacco products shall be prohibited in said Council Chambers.
This section of this article shall be implemented by posting NO SMOKING
- VIOLATORS ARE SUBJECT TO A $25 FINE signs in the Council Chambers.
The Municipal Manager is hereby authorized and empowered to
designate no-smoking areas in any Municipal building or office owned
or occupied by the Municipality of Monroeville. This section of this
article shall be implemented by posting NO SMOKING - VIOLATORS ARE
SUBJECT TO A $25 FINE signs in the areas designated by the Municipal
Manager as no smoking areas.
Any person smoking or in possession of lighted tobacco products
in an area designated as a no-smoking area shall be guilty of violating
this article and, upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to a fine
of $25, plus costs.
