A.
Law enforcement agencies outside of Howell Township may use the Howell
Township Shooting Range pursuant to the following fee schedule:

B.
All agencies shall pick up and clean up after themselves after use
of the facilities and shall leave it in an orderly condition.
C.
Outside agencies shall not fire anything other than nontoxic ammunition.
The use of lead ammunition is strictly prohibited.
D.
Each side (25 yard and 100 yard) of the Howell Township Shooting
Range shall constitute a separate position. The availability of a
position on the Howell Township Shooting Range is based upon the side
being requested.
E.
Subleasing of the Howell Township Shooting Range is not permitted.
F.
All agencies must acknowledge in writing the receipt and review of
the range operation manual.
G.
All agencies must adhere to the range operation manual.
H.
Any agency found in violation of, without limitation, the rules set
forth in this section, those promulgated by the Howell Township Police
Department, the Howell Police Shooting Facilities usage agreement,
the range operation manual, or any other applicable statute, ordinance,
rule or regulation will be barred from future range usage and any
funds paid will be forfeited.
I.
The Howell Township Police Department shall be permitted to make
any changes or adjustments to the schedule or the range operation
manual for the betterment of Howell Township Shooting Range operations.
J.
Arrangements for payment must be made with 10 business days of scheduling.
Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of Howell Township Shooting
Range dates.
K.
Sharing of Howell Township Shooting Range dates is prohibited.
M.
Howell Township Shooting Range scheduling is subject to availability
and cancellations must be 10 days in advance, otherwise the fee will
apply.
N.
The fees set forth herein are subject to change based on Howell Township
Shooting Range needs.
O.
For each agency that has signed a shared services agreement with
Howell, the Howell Township Shooting Range fee may be waived in exchange
for services at the discretion of the Township Manager or his designee.
P.
Prior
to using the range, law enforcement agencies outside of Howell Township
must submit a liability insurance certificate.
