[Adopted 10-13-1950 by L.L. No. 2-1950 (Ch. 28, Art. II, of
the 1972 Code)]
A brief description of the contents of every ordinance, bylaw,
rule or regulation imposing any penalty or forfeiture, or imprisonment
for a violation of any of its provisions, rather than a verbatim publication
of the entire ordinance, bylaw, rule or regulation, together with
a statement that said ordinance, bylaw, rule or regulation is on record
with the Village Clerk, thus shall be published at least once in the
official newspaper of the Village before the provisions of such ordinance,
bylaw, rule or regulation shall become effective and enforceable.
It shall not be necessary to publish any ordinance, bylaw, rule or
regulation to be enforced within the Village, except as herein provided.
