This chapter may be cited as the "Administrative Code Chapter"
of the Code of the City of Camden.
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the
meanings indicated:
The Business Administrator duly appointed pursuant to the
Charter and this chapter or any Assistant or Acting Administrator
duly serving in place of the Business Administrator pursuant to the
Charter, this chapter or other applicable ordinance.
The provisions of the Optional Municipal Charter Law (P.L.
1950, c. 210, as amended and supplemented: N.J.S.A. 40:69A-1 et seq.)
applicable to that form of government provided therein known as "Mayor/Council
Plan B" and any and all statutory provisions of this state as may
be lawfully applicable to the City of Camden.
The City of Camden, in the County of Camden, New Jersey.
The governing body of the City of Camden, constituted and
elected pursuant to Mayor-Council Plans of the Optional Municipal
Charter Law (P.L. 1950, c. 210, as amended and supplemented: N.J.S.A.
40:69A-1 et seq.), consisting of seven elected Councilmen.
An organization unit of the City government established or
designated by or pursuant to this chapter as a "department" and any
agency or instrumentality of the City government not allocated or
assigned within such an organization unit.
The administrative head of a department, unless otherwise
specifically indicated.

Any act of local legislation adopted, so long as it remains
in force and effect pursuant to law.
