A.
The monthly rates required and which shall be charged and collected
by the City of Camdenton for water and water service furnished by
the combined waterworks and sewerage system of the City of Camdenton
effective October 1, 2023, shall be as follows:
1.
For the first two thousand (2,000) gallons or fraction thereof,
a minimum charge of eleven dollars and fifty cents ($11.50) per month
prorated for the first month for new subscriber service.
2.
For all in excess of two thousand (2,000) gallons, a charge
of three dollars and seventy-five cents ($3.75) per one thousand (1,000)
gallons or fraction thereof per month.

A.
Water and sewer customers shall be billed monthly. Billings for any
particular cycle shall be made within thirty (30) days after the end
of the billing cycle. Payments are due when the billings are made
and shall be considered delinquent if not paid by the last day of
the month of the billing.
B.
A late payment penalty in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the
user charge bill will be added to each delinquent bill for each calendar
month the bill remains unpaid.

It shall be unlawful for any user to fail to pay the water and/or
sewer service charges established by this Code. Such offense shall
be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00).
Said offense shall be prosecuted by the City Attorney within the Municipal
Court system of the City of Camdenton. The term "user" as used herein
shall be defined as the individual person in whose name the water
and/or sewer service was established.
