A. 
The Town Engineer shall be appointed by Council and be responsible for advising the Council, its committees, and the Chief Administrative Officer upon all projects, procedures and any other matters that in the course of municipal activity require engineering expertise. The Engineer's interactions and communications with department supervisors shall be coordinated through the Town Manager's office.
B. 
The Town Engineer shall be responsible for all activities relating to but not limited to the following functions:
(1) 
Engineering matters of the Town as referred, such as land development and subdivision review, or other consultation assistance.
(2) 
Staff assistance to the Public Works and Code Enforcement Departments and Planning Commission.
(3) 
All other responsibilities and obligations that the Town Council and Town Manager may from time to time assign consistent with the Home Rule Charter and this Administrative Code.
