It is hereby prohibited to drink any intoxicating
liquor on any sidewalk, street, avenue, highway, public parking lot,
park, recreation area or in any vehicle not on private property within
the City of Brigantine, Atlantic County, New Jersey, at any time.
[Amended 12-28-1992 by Ord. No. 28-1992]
Any person or persons violating this article
shall, upon conviction in the Municipal Court of the City of Brigantine,
be subject to a fine not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment in the county
jail not more than 90 days, or both fine and imprisonment, in the
discretion of the Municipal Judge hearing said violation.
Copies of this article shall be posted on the
beaches of Brigantine, in the City Hall of said City and every place
licensed for the sale of alcohol beverages in said City.
