International Property Maintenance Code/2018 is hereby adopted, marked and designated as the existing property maintenance code of the City of Brigantine, and each of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said International Property Maintenance Code/2018 are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set forth in this article with the exception of the additions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in § 238-3 of this article.
Three copies of the aforementioned code are to be placed in the files of the Clerk of the City of Brigantine with additional copies on file in the office of the Construction Official, and the Fire Department.
International Property Maintenance Code/2018 is hereby amended and revised in the following respects:
A. 
Section 101.1 is hereby amended to insert "the City of Brigantine."
B. 
Section 103.5 is hereby amended to reflect the current fee schedule in effect by the City of Brigantine.
C. 
Section 112.4 is hereby amended to read as follows: ". . . .shall be liable to a fine of not less than $500 nor more than $2,000."
D. 
Section 302.4 is hereby amended to read as follows: ". . . .shall be maintained free from weeds or plant growth in excess of 10 inches."
E. 
Section 304.14 is hereby amended to read as follows: "During the period from April 1 to October 31, every door, window and other outside opening required for ventilation. . . ."
F. 
Section 602.3 is hereby amended to read as follows: ". . . .shall supply heat during the period from September 15 to June 1 to maintain a minimum. . . ."
G. 
Section 602.4 is hereby amended to read as follows: ". . . . shall be supplied with heat during the period from September 15 to June 1 to maintain a minimum. . . ."

Any appeals of violations of the International Property Maintenance Code/2018 may be filed with the Atlantic County Construction Board of Appeals.
