No license or permit shall be issued until all applicable fees
are paid in full, as may be provided elsewhere for the various licenses
and permits. Unless provided otherwise, no fee shall be prorated and
the fee for renewal of a license or permit shall be the same as the
fee for the original license or permit.
When required by the ordinance or ordinances pertaining to the
license or permit to be obtained, a bond shall be posted in such amount
and of such nature as will meet the requirements of said ordinance.
All bonds and similar instruments shall be subject to approval, both
as to form and sufficiency, by the City Attorney or such other legal
counsel as may be designated.
Unless otherwise provided, all licenses and permits shall expire
on December 31 of the year in which issued, and no license or permit
shall be granted for a period greater than one year.
