The City of Pottsville is divided into the following 11 zoning districts:

The location and boundaries of these districts are established as shown on the attached Zoning Map of the City dated January 1961, amended and revised April 1979, amended March 1995, amended February 1996, amended April 2004, amended January 2020. The Zoning Map as of April 2004 is repealed, and the Zoning Map attached hereto is adopted as the Zoning Map and is made a part of this chapter.[1]

If uncertainty exists as to the boundary of any district shown on the Zoning Map, the Zoning Hearing Board shall determine the location of such boundary.
Any land annexed to or consolidated with the city shall be temporarily classified R-1 until reclassified by an amendment to this chapter.
