Pursuant to § 27 of Article 2-B of the Executive Law of the State of New York, the following succession to command is hereby established to ensure the continuity of local governmental operations in the event of a disaster and the emergency conditions caused thereby, when any of such officer is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, or is absent from the political subdivision:
A. 
The Chief Executive Officer of the City;
B. 
The President of the Common Council;
C. 
Acting Mayor;
D. 
Director of Emergency Management;
E. 
The Chief of Police;
F. 
The Chief of Fire/Rescue;
G. 
Superintendent of Public Works;
H. 
The City Chamberlain.
