The Chamberlain of the City of Norwich is hereby
authorized to deduct from the wages of any employee of the City such
amounts as the employee may request, in writing, as it pertains to
those deductions authorized by statute or as a result of a negotiated
labor agreement, YMCA membership, and those withholdings distributed
directly by such payroll service the City may retain when there is
not an additional charge for such deductions, including, but not limited
to, savings, individual retirement accounts, Christmas clubs, and
direct deposit to checking accounts.
