A. 
With the exception of Weiler Park and Gordon Park, all parks in the City of Norwich will be closed to the public from dusk until dawn. Weiler Park and Gordon Park shall be closed from 10:00 p.m. until dawn.

B. 
Exemptions may be granted for special events designated by the Common Council.

Nothing contained in this article prohibits sidewalks of East Side Park and West Side Park from being used as a thoroughfare for direct passage of pedestrians through East Side Park and West Side Park.

Any person violating the provision of this article will be regarded as a trespasser and subject to a fine of not more than $250 or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
