[HISTORY: Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Stratford 4-12-1988 as Secs. 2-1-2 and 2-1-4 of the 1988 Code. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The voting polls in the Village of Stratford, Marathon County, Wisconsin, shall be opened from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for all elections.
A. 
The Village of Stratford, pursuant to § 66.0101, Wis. Stats., hereby elects not to be governed by those portions of § 8.05(1), Wis. Stats., relating to the caucus system of nomination of candidates to Village elective office which are in conflict with this section.
B. 
Candidates for an elective office in the Village of Stratford shall be nominated, as necessary, by a Village nonpartisan primary, as specified in § 8.05(4), Wis. Stats.

The Village Clerk shall have the authority to determine the number of election inspectors to adequately staff each election and to reduce the number of election inspectors to an odd number of not fewer than three at any given election held within the Village of Stratford.
The Village Clerk shall have the authority to hire election officials to work less than a full day on the day of the election or to establish work shifts on election day.
