The Board of Trustees of the Village of Greenwood Lake, having duly adopted a resolution accepting the applicability of the State Building Construction Code, hereby enacts the following Administrative Ordinance pursuant to the provisions of § 383 of the Executive Law of the State of New York and of all other applicable laws:
A. 
The Board of Trustees of the Village of Greenwood Lake is hereby authorized to appoint or employ a Building Inspector.
B. 
The Building Inspector shall have all the powers relating to administration and enforcement of the State Building Construction Code set forth in Article 18 of the Executive Law and shall have the power to administer and enforce any and all other building regulations applicable to the Village under any other law and ordinance relating to building regulations now or hereafter applicable to this Village.
C. 
The Building Inspector may be appointed or employed by the Board of Trustees in conjunction with one or more municipalities. The compensation of the Building Inspector shall, from time to time, be fixed by the Board of Trustees.
