Storing or displaying for sale any fruits, vegetables or merchandise of any description or permitting the same to be stored or displayed for sale on any of the streets, avenues, highways or other public places within the Borough limits is hereby prohibited.
A. 
Any person violating or causing to be violated or consenting to or permitting the violation of any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be liable or subject to a fine in an amount not to exceed $500 for the first offense or imprisonment for a period of not exceeding 10 days in the county jail, or both, in accordance with the statutes in such case made and provided; a fine in an amount not to exceed $1,000 for the second offense or imprisonment for a period of not exceeding 30 days in the county jail, or both; and a fine in an amount not to exceed $1,500 for the third offense or imprisonment for a period of not exceeding 90 days in the county jail, or both.

B. 
Each day that said violation shall continue shall be a separate and distinct violation of this article.
