of the 1965 Code)]
The turning of vehicles so as to proceed in the opposite direction
at any intersection, or upon any curve, or upon the approach to or
near the crest of a grade, where such vehicle is not visible by the
operator of any vehicle approaching from either direction within 500
feet, is hereby prohibited on all Village streets.
Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of § 400-81 hereof is subject to the penalties provided for in § 1800(b) of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York.
This article is hereby enacted pursuant to the provisions of
Chapter 1028 of the Laws of 1974 and the provisions of the Municipal
Home Rule Law of the State of New York.
