A. The
lawful use of a building or operation of a business existing at the
time of the effective date of this Article which does not conform
to the provisions thereof may be continued but shall be in violation
thereof five (5) years thereafter if such non-conforming use or operation
has not been changed to a conforming use or operation within said
five (5) years from the date of approval of this Article where such
is physically possible.
B. In
the event of a non-conforming use of any building or premises is discontinued,
the use of the same shall thereafter conform to the use permitted
in the district in which it is located.
C. No
existing building or premises devoted to a use not permitted by this
Article in the district in which said building or premises is located,
except when required to do so by law or order, shall be enlarged,
extended, reconstructed or structurally altered, unless such use is
changed to a use permitted in the district in which such building
or premises is located.
