A. 
The City Attorney shall:
1. 
Act as counselor to the Mayor and Board on all City matters;
2. 
Prosecute violations of City ordinances in the Municipal Court;
3. 
Represent the City in all civil and criminal matters in which the City is an interested party;
4. 
Draft all ordinances and legal documents for the City; and
5. 
Perform such other duties as required by State law, City ordinance and the Board.

The Assistant City Attorney shall assist the City Attorney in carrying out the duties delegated to him/her.
