The City of Clairton hereby adopts, for the purpose of prescribing
regulations governing the consumption of energy resources in buildings
and structures, the energy conservation code known as the "BOCA National
Energy Conservation Code, 1993, Seventh Edition," as published by
the Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc.,
save and except such portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified
or amended, of which three copies have been and now are filed in the
office of the City Manager, and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated
as fully as if set out at length herein. From the date on which this
article shall take effect, the provisions thereof shall be controlling
within the corporate limits of the City.
The Energy Conservation Code hereby adopted is amended as follows:
A.
Section E-101.1, Title, is amended to read as follows:
E-101.1 Title: These regulations shall be known
as the "Energy Conservation Code of the City of Clairton," hereinafter
referred to as "this code."
