Every petition for a zone change requested by a landowner shall
be made on the official form, which shall be filed with the Town Clerk,
with a copy to the Planning Board and the Town Council, showing the
date and time the filing was received by the Town Clerk.
The petitioner shall be responsible for the cost of advertising
both the Planning Board and the Town Council public hearings.
The process for adopting a zone change shall be in accordance
with MGL c. 40A, § 5, the Zoning Act, and with the Town
Charter.
The application fee may be waived if deemed appropriate.
