The purpose of this district is to provide for commercial uses that depend on access to an arterial highway, that may generate truck traffic and that may not be compatible with commercial areas devoted primarily to retail shopping in planned shopping centers.

In the B-2 Highway Commercial District, only the following uses are authorized:

Business or professional office, minor.

Car wash, subject to § 27-1906.7.
(5) 
Contracting business and contractor's yard.

Financial institution, minor.
(9) 
Garden nursery.
(10) 
Gasoline station, subject to § 27-1906.20.
(11) 
Health club.
(12) 
Hotel or motel, subject to § 27-1906.26.

Kennel, subject to § 27-1906.29.
(14) 
Retail business, minor.
(15) 
Restaurant.
(16) 
Vehicle accessories sales and installation, subject to § 27-1906.59.

Vehicle rental, sales and service.
(18) 
Vehicle repair garage.

Vehicle service station, subject to § 27-1906.60.

Medical marijuana dispensary, subject to § 1303.12.

Solar energy system (small), subject to § 27-1906.51.

Temporary construction trailer or sales office, subject to § 27-2108.

Other accessory uses customarily incidental to and on the same lot with any permitted use authorized in this district.

In the B-2 Highway Commercial District, all uses shall be subject to the following regulations, except as they may be modified by the express standards and criteria for the specific conditional uses and uses by special exception contained in Part 19.
