For establishments or operations in effect as of the beginning of any calendar year, any fee required to be paid hereunder which shall remain unpaid beyond February 15 of such calendar year shall result in a late fee due of 50% of the annual fee. For establishments or operations not in effect as of the beginning of any calendar year, any prorated fee required to be paid hereunder which shall remain unpaid beyond 45 days of notice from the Township as to the required fee to be paid shall result in a late fee due of 50% of the prorated fee.

The annual fees for the licenses, permits or certificates referred to hereafter are hereby fixed as follows:
A. 
Food-handling establishments: as set forth in Chapter 212, Fees.
B. 
Temporary food: as set forth in Chapter 212, Fees.
C. 
Restaurants/caterers: as set forth in Chapter 212, Fees.
D. 
Vending machines for food: as set forth in Chapter 212, Fees.
E. 
Non-food-handling establishments: as set forth in Chapter 212, Fees.

A. 
No fee for any permit, license or certificate issued hereunder shall be required by any person declared by state law to be exempt from the payment of any such fee, nor shall any fee be required from the Township of Washington or any of its departments, or any organization operating within the Township of Washington which provides recreation programs to children who are residents of the Township of Washington or which support such programs by selling food or merchandise.
B. 
All Township departments/organizations preparing food for recreational events must, prior to opening, designate a responsible, supervisory person to meet with the Health Office to discuss food safety management practices.
