The City government, under the Mayor-Council Plan of the Optional Municipal Charter Law, L. 1950, c. 210, as amended (N.J.S.A. 40:69A-1 et seq.), shall, in addition to the elected Municipal Council, consist of the following offices and departments:

Department of Law.

Department of Administration.

Division of Human Resources. Under the direction of the Business Administrator, the head of Human Resources is responsible for implementing and managing recruiting, training, promotion, discipline, administration of insurance and benefit plans, and labor contract negotiations with the City of Rahway.

Department of Revenue and Finance.
