Leave by an employee for military service will be granted in accordance with Illinois Compiled Statutes, including the Family Military Leave Act (820 ILCS 151/1 et seq.).
For military leave, application must be made out by the employee prior to his military duty; and on return, the employee must supply evidence as to the dates such military duty was performed. Only full-time employees of the Village are entitled to military leave.
Military reserve duty of all full-time employees shall be compensated by the Village not to exceed two weeks if not paid by the federal government.
