Editor's Note: Former Art. I, Village Justice, adopted 4-18-1989
by L.L. No. 1-1989, was repealed 9-22-2021 by L.L. No. 3-2021. This
local law also provided for the renumbering of former Art. II as Art.
I.
Pursuant to New York State Village Law § 3-300, Subdivision
2, the Board of Trustees hereby provides that the residency requirement
of the appointive offices of Clerk, Deputy Clerk, Treasurer, Deputy
Treasurer and Public Works Supervisor is hereby extended to provide
that the Clerk, Deputy Clerk, Treasurer, Deputy Treasurer and Public
Works Supervisor need not be residents of the Village of Millbrook;
provided, however, that the Clerk, Deputy Clerk, Treasurer, Deputy
Treasurer and Public Works Supervisor shall be residents of the County
of Dutchess.
