The Department of Roads, through the Roads Foreman and subject
to the control of the Road Committee, shall take charge of and be
responsible for the preservation, operation and maintenance of all
public streets, roads and storm sewers and such other public facilities
as may be assigned; the cutting of brush, mowing of grass and removal
of snow; and the cleaning of ditches.
The Township Committee may, by resolution, make rules and regulations
necessary for the proper regulation of the Roads Department, and these
shall be known as the "Rules and Regulations Governing the Roads Department"
and shall be binding on each employee of the Department.
