[HISTORY: Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lake
Mills 1-19-2021 by Ord. No. 1222. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The City Council of the City of Lake Mills hereby adopts Wis.
Stats. § 106.50, as amended, and all subsequent amendments
thereto.
The officials and employees of the City of Lake Mills shall
assist in the orderly prevention and removal of all discrimination
in housing within the City of Lake Mills by implementing the authority
and enforcement procedures set forth in Wis. Stats. § 106.50,
as amended.
The City Clerk shall maintain forms for complaints to be filed
under Wis. Stats. § 106.50, as amended, and shall assist
any person alleging a violation thereof in the City of Lake Mills
to file a complaint thereunder with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce
Development, Equal Rights Division, for enforcement of Wis. Stats.
§ 106.50, as amended.
This chapter is effective and shall be given full force and
effect upon passage and publication as provided by law.
