Pursuant to the Township's Fire Code, the owners of all businesses
operating within Lower Makefield Township shall be required to fully
complete and submit a fire safety registration (in such form and substance
as prepared by the Township) to the office of the Fire Service Director,
Lower Makefield Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, containing such
information as to the occupant, business owner, emergency contact
information and property information, as the office of the Fire Service
Director shall deem necessary or appropriate.
The office of the Fire Service Director shall charge a fee for each
fire safety registration in an amount as shall be determined by the
Board of Supervisors and set forth in the Fee Schedule of Lower Makefield
Township,[1] payable on or before December 31 of the year preceding
the registration year.
All fire safety registration forms shall be reviewed annually by
the Fire Service Director and any and all businesses operating within
the Township shall be affirmatively required to provide any revised
or updated information to the Township so that the fire safety registration
is, at all relevant times, up to date with the most current information.
Violations and penalties. If any person, firm or corporation shall
violate the provisions of this Code, same shall be considered a summary
offense punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000 or in lieu of
payment of fine by imprisonment not to exceed 90 days. Each day that
a violation shall continue shall be a separate violation.
