Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:49-5.1 and upon the recommendation of the Fire Chief, there is hereby adopted the Code for Life Safety from Fire in Buildings and Structures, 1970 Edition, adopted by the National Fire Protection Association.
There is annexed hereto a printed copy of said code.
Three copies of said code are on file with the Borough Clerk as of the introduction of this chapter and will remain on file there until final action is taken on this chapter, for use and examination by the public.
If any provision of any other ordinance heretofore or hereafter adopted is in conflict, real or apparent, with any provision of the code hereby adopted, the more stringent provision shall apply.
