This chapter shall be known as the "Police Commission Law of the Town of Shelter Island."
It is the intent of the Town Board of the Town of Shelter Island to supersede § 150, Subdivision 2, of the Town Law of the State of New York.
The Town Board shall appoint the entire Town Board to serve as Police Commissioners, and when so appointed, such Town Board shall have all the powers of and perform the duties of such Board of Police Commissioners.
