The position of Clerk of the Village Court is
hereby established pursuant to New York State Civil Service Law § 41(d).
The Clerk of the Village Court shall perform clerical work in and
out of court, manage the calendar of the Village Court, and perform
such other duties as may be directed by the Village Justice and contained
in a duties statement approved by the Suffolk County Civil Service
Commission.
The position of Deputy Clerk of the Village
Court is hereby established pursuant to New York State Civil Service
Law § 41(d). The Deputy Clerk of the Village Court shall
perform clerical work in and out of court, assist the Clerk of the
Village Court, and, in the absence of the Clerk of the Village Court,
manage the calendar of the Village Court, and perform such other duties
as may be directed by the Village Justice and contained in a duties
statement approved by the Suffolk County Civil Service Commission.
