It is unlawful for a person to install, service
or maintain an alarm system that automatically utilizes a telephonic
line that terminates directly at the Schenectady police headquarters
or at a fire house or signal control station of the City of Schenectady.

Any person violating any provision of this article
shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not exceeding
$150 or by imprisonment not exceeding 150 days, or both, or by a penalty
not exceeding $500 to be recovered in a civil action. Each day any
violation of this article shall continue shall constitute a separate
offense.
