This article is enacted pursuant to the authority granted to municipalities
in C.G.S. § 9-189 and/or 189a.
A.
The Treasurer and the Tax Collector shall, at the next succeeding
regular election for such offices and thereafter, each be elected for a term
of four years. Such four-year terms shall both commence on the 15th day following
the date of such election.
B.
The Registrars of Voters shall, at the regular election in November
2004, and thereafter, be elected for a term of four years. Such four-year
term shall commence on the Wednesday after the first Tuesday in January following
the date of such election.
