Notwithstanding the provisions of § 4-400 of the Village Law, any member of the Village Board of Trustees may move to appoint the Village Clerk, Village Treasurer, Code Enforcement Officer, Village Attorney and/or Director of Public Works, subject to the approval by a majority of the Village Board of Trustees.

Notwithstanding the provisions of Village Law, the Village Board of Trustees may appoint as Village Treasurer any person who is a resident of either the County of Ontario, County of Wayne, County of Monroe or County of Livingston.
