The Borough of Brookville hereby signifies its intention and desire to organize an Authority under the Municipality Authorities Act approved May 2, 1945, P.L. 382,[1] and its amendments.

The President of Borough Council and the Secretary-Treasurer of the Borough of Brookville and the Mayor are hereby authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the Borough of Brookville, Articles of Incorporation for said Authority in substantially the following form:
Articles of Incorporation
To The Department of State, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania:
In compliance with the requirements of the "Municipality Authorities Act of 1945" approved the 2nd day of May, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended, the Council of the Borough of Brookville, a municipal corporation of the County of Jefferson and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, desiring to organize an Authority thereunder, does hereby certify:
1.
The name of the Authority is "Brookville Municipal Authority."
2.
Said Authority is formed under the Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended and supplemented.
3.
No other Authority organized under the said Act of May 2, 1945, as amended and supplemented, or by previous Act of Assembly authorizing and regulating municipal authorities, is in existence in or for the incorporating municipality the said Borough of Brookville, County of Jefferson and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
4.
The name of the incorporating municipality is the Borough of Brookville, County of Jefferson, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and the names and addresses of its municipal authorities are as follows:[2]
5.
The names and address and the terms of office of the first members of the Board of the said Authority are as follows:[3]
6.
The project or projects to be undertaken by said Authority shall be projects permitted and authorized by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as the Borough of Brookville may from time to time by resolution or ordinance specify.
7.
The term of existence of said Authority is hereby increased to the date 50 years from the date of approval by the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania of the Articles of Amendment proposing such increase in the term of the existence of said Authority. The term of existence is increased for an additional term of 50 years.
