[The Easton Municipal Authority was formed in compliance with the Municipal Authorities Act (53 Pa.C.S.A. ยงย 5601 et seq.), as amended, and pursuant to Ordinance 4688, adopted July 13, 2005.]

[The Easton Parking Authority was created under provisions of Act of June 5, 1947 (P.L. 458), by Ordinance 1336, passed September 28, 1951. The term of existence of the Authority shall be for a period ending on December 31, 2021. The Parking Authority acquires and constructs parking lots which are operated by the City under lease from the Authority.]

[The Easton Suburban Water Authority was created under provisions of the Act of May 2, 1945 (P.L. 382), as amended, by Ordinance 1519, passed April 4, 1957; as amended by Ordinance 1903, passed February 16, 1966; Ordinance 2005, passed March 5, 1968; and Ordinance 2195, passed February 14, 1973. The Authority operates a water distribution system in surrounding boroughs and townships within Northampton County.
The existence of the Water Authority was extended to August 1, 2040, by Ordinance 3147, passed February 13, 1991.
Resolution 119-91, adopted November 7, 1991, amends the Water Purchase Agreement whereby the Water Authority purchases water from the City, provides for the method of rate determination and also amends the lease between the City and the Authority.
The number of Directors serving on the Easton Suburban Water Authority is increased from seven to nine, by Ordinance 4291, passed February 26, 2003.]

[The Housing Authority of the City of Easton was established on February 1, 1946, by certificate of the Governor of Pennsylvania pursuant to the submission of a petition of at least 25 citizens and taxpayers resident in the City of Easton, in accordance with the provisions of the Act of May 28, 1937 (P.L. 955). The Act provides that the Mayor shall appoint two persons to be members of the Housing Authority of such City, and the Governor shall appoint three persons. Such members shall be citizens residing within the City for which the Authority is created. Members serve for a term of five years.]

[The Easton Area Joint Sewer Authority was created in 1976 under the provisions of the Municipality Authorities Act of May 2, 1945 (P.L. 382), together with all supplements thereof and amendments thereto, for the purpose of operating, planning and otherwise providing the facilities necessary to furnish sewage treatment for the City of Easton, the Boroughs of Stockertown, Tatamy, West Easton and Wilson, and the Townships of Bushkill, Forks, Palmer, Plainfield and Upper Nazareth, pursuant to the agreement of June 24, 1976, by and between the City of Easton, the Bushkill-Lower Lehigh Joint Sewer Authority, the Townships of Forks and Palmer, and the Boroughs of West Easton and Wilson.
The Affairs of the Authority are administered by a Board of 14 members, appointed as follows:

Bushkill-Lower Lehigh Joint Sewer Authority: 6
Ordinance 3159, passed April 24, 1991, adopted the Rules and Regulations of the Easton Area Joint Sewer Authority, and provided for the enforcement and penalty for such Rules and Regulations. A copy of such Rules and Regulations are attached to Ordinance 3159. Paragraphs 5 and 6 of the Articles of Incorporation were amended by Ordinance 3489, passed April 23, 1997.]

[The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Easton was established on July 27, 1948, by resolution of Council, in accordance with the Act of May 24, 1945 (P.L. 991). The Mayor is authorized to appoint five persons as members of the Redevelopment Authority, all of whom shall be residents of the City. Members serve for a term of five years. The Authority is designated as agent for the City to conduct a comprehensive neighborhood rehabilitation program by Ordinance 2452, passed April 12, 1978.]
