[§§ 10A-1 to 10A-3 of the 1967 Code]
There shall be appointed annually by the Board of Health an Inspector of Gas Piping and Gas Appliances. Such appointment shall be made in March of each year and the Inspector shall hold office from the first day of April following for a term of one year or until a successor is appointed in the Inspector's place. The Board of Health may at any time remove the Inspector. The Inspector of Gas Piping and Gas Appliances shall keep a record of inspections.
A. 
His duties shall be the enforcement of the rules and regulations adopted by the board established under Section 12H of Chapter 25, General Laws.[1]

B. 
He shall be paid such annual salary as the Town from time to time may determine. The Inspector of Gas Piping and Gas Appliances shall account for all fees received by the Inspector by virtue of office, which shall, upon receipt, be paid into the Town treasury.
