The Select Board shall have the power to rent
Abbot Hall, the Old Town Hall, and other property of the Town under
their jurisdiction, for any lawful purpose, provided, however, that
at all times such renting shall be subject to the use by the Town
for Town purposes.

It shall be the duty of the Select Board as
agents of the Town to keep insured against loss or damage or fire
all insurable property of the Town, both real and personal. Each department
of the Town, except the Board of Assessors, shall annually, on or
before the first day of June, render a complete list of all Town property,
both real and personal, under its control, to the Select Board, together
with the description of said property and its estimate of the replacement
value thereof. Each department shall further, forthwith upon the purchase
or acquisition of any property, render a statement in writing to the
Select Board, fully describing the same, with the replacement value
thereof.
The Select Board and any Town board or officer
having charge of any equipment used for Town purposes may, in purchasing
new equipment authorized by the Town, sell or trade in used equipment
which the new equipment replaces, and apply the proceeds of such sale
or trade as a part of the purchase price of the new equipment.
