The purpose of the trailer tenant shall be the protection and surveillance of recreation, park and conservation sites to preserve the sites and their contents and to interpret rules and regulations of these sites to the public.
Specific objectives of the trailer tenant shall be to:
A. 
Provide security that would serve as interpreters of site rules and regulations and in effect be on-site public regulations personnel.
B. 
Provide personnel who would assist in eliminating vandalism on site and thus minimize replacement, repair and maintenance costs.
C. 
Identify and report hazardous conditions or activities which exist on the park sites.
Preferred criteria shall be as follows:
A. 
A Monroeville resident, employed in Monroeville.
B. 
Married, nonrestrictive health and stability.
C. 
One employed (nonworking spouse).
D. 
A history of job responsibility.
E. 
Strength of character and commands respect.
F. 
The ability to understand and interpret Municipal policies and ordinances.
G. 
Ability to take control of self and minor trespass situations.
H. 
A lifestyle compatible with duties.
I. 
Recreation Advisory Board recommendation.
Other criteria desired shall be as follows:
A. 
The possession or imminent possession of a new or well-conditioned mobile home meeting the requirements of Chapter 359, Zoning, of the Code of the Municipality of Monroeville.
B. 
Available time to carry out the responsibilities.
C. 
A lifestyle compatible with the environment and community relations aspects of being a resident caretaker.
D. 
The display of judgmental abilities and familiarization with mechanical repair techniques and tasks.
Proposed tenants shall meet as closely as possible criteria when the lease agreement is entered. A list of eligible applicants will be kept on file.
Lease agreements shall be calendared subject to review of tenant criteria six months preceding the lease agreement termination. If current tenants do not meet the preferred criteria following review, the Municipality may choose to go to the next available tenant on the eligibility list.
A waiting list of qualified tenants will be maintained until placed on a park site or until notification is received from the applicant of a change in status and/or availability.
Tenants will be subject to rules and regulations defined in the lease agreement.
