All motor-driven passenger-carrying buses and the owners and operators thereof operating and using the public streets, avenues, alleys and thoroughfares of the Borough of Sayre aforesaid shall be and hereby are prohibited from stopping or parking, for any purpose, upon restricted areas or sections of any of said thoroughfares as may be designated hereby or in the future by the corporate authorities of said Borough for that purpose.
A. 
In said prohibited and restricted areas, said Borough shall provide, in proper and convenient places, sufficient and adequate stopping places for said vehicles for the receiving and discharging of passengers and for a reasonable parking time. Such spaces shall be properly and clearly marked as such, and no parking shall be allowed therein, except that of said buses.
B. 
In such designated places, the parking meters shall be removed.
It shall be unlawful for the driver of a motor-driven passenger-carrying bus to stop or park such bus on any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XIV (§ 163-67), attached to and made a part of this chapter, unless such location is designated in Schedule XV (§ 163-68).
It shall be lawful for the driver of any motor-driven passenger-carrying bus to stop or park such bus at any of the locations described in Schedule XV (§ 163-68), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
Every person, firm or corporation, operating buses as aforesaid in said Borough shall have 10 days' notice of this article. A like notice shall be given to such operators of any future restrictions.
Every person, firm or corporation now or in the future violating any of the provisions of this article shall be subject to a fine in the sum of $5 for the first offense and in the sum of $10 for each subsequent offense, together with costs, for the use of said Borough, which shall be collected according to law, and in the event of the nonpayment of this same, suffer an imprisonment of one day for every dollar of fine and costs so assessed then not paid.
