Prior to beginning any charitable event, the sponsoring organization must submit an application to College Township and obtain a permit. When the Township has approved the submitted application, the applicant shall be issued a permit. The permit shall contain the information required on the application and the expiration date. The permit shall be retained by the applicant at all times when engaged in such activity and shall be available for inspection to any person approached for purposes of sales or event activities.
A. 
There shall be no fee for a charitable events permit. However, there may be charges for municipal services, such as police services, if they are needed.
B. 
The term of each charitable event shall be specified on the issued permit.
The permit for the charitable event shall be valid in all districts within the Township of and subject to the following limitations:

The time limit for a charitable event shall be limited to a period of 15 consecutive days.
B. 
Signs related to charitable events will require permits in accordance with Chapter 170, Signs.
