The Borough of Riverdale hereby establishes,
pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:14-156 et seq., a reciprocal
agreement with the Township of Wayne in the County of Passaic for
intermunicipal fire assistance with respect to response to a hazardous
material incident. This article shall become effective upon execution
of an agreement with said Township of Wayne.
Designated officials of the Borough of Riverdale
shall be and remain in charge of dealing with the hazardous material
incident and the Township of Wayne Hazardous Material Team will advise
and assist said Borough of Riverdale but shall not assume command
or responsibility, however, for the incident.
