There shall be the office of Borough Attorney, which said office shall be in conformity with the statutes governing the same.

The duties of the Borough Attorney shall include all services rendered by him as legal adviser to the Mayor and Council and head of each department in all official matters. He shall, when required, advise the Mayor and Council, its subcommittees and officers, respectively, upon all Borough matters which may be submitted to him for opinion. He shall draft all resolutions, ordinances, legislative bills and other official documents upon request by the Mayor and Council.
