[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Lowville 1-21-2004 by L.L. No. 1-2004. Amendments noted where applicable.]
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
PUBLICITY FUND
A fund established by the Village Board of the Village of Lowville for the purpose of segregating funds for the purpose of promoting the Village of Lowville, for stimulating economic growth and for recognizing legitimate Village-wide celebrations, such as significant anniversaries of the founding of the Village.
The Board of Trustees of the Village of Lowville may from time to time designate certain funds as publicity funds to be added to the Publicity Fund. The Village Clerk shall keep a separate accounting of such fund and shall treat it in the same manner as a reserve fund established under General Municipal Law.
No funds shall be expended from the Publicity Fund except upon resolution of the Village Board.
