The keeping or storing of refrigerators, boxes or containers of any nature whatsoever in places where children have access to the same without the removal of the doors or covers therefrom is hereby declared to be a public nuisance and a menace to the health and lives of the children of the Borough.
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to place, keep or store any refrigerator, box or container of any nature whatsoever in any yard, field, lot, street or lane of the Borough of Marcus Hook which cannot be opened from the inside unless the door or cover to same has been completely removed from such refrigerator, box or other container.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable for each offense by a fine of up to the maximum amount provided from time to time by state statute.
