A.
The Mayor, with the consent and approval
of the City Council, shall appoint in April of each year a Deputy
City Treasurer.
B.
In the absence of the City Treasurer, the
Deputy City Treasurer shall perform the duties and responsibilities
of the office of City Treasurer.
C.
The appointed Deputy City Treasurer shall
receive no fees, compensation, salary or other remuneration for performing
the duties of Deputy City Treasurer.
