There is hereby created the office of Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer.
At the option of the Mayor, and with the approval of the Board of Trustees, a person may be appointed to the office of Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer.
A. 
The office of Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer shall combine the duties of the Clerk and the Treasurer as recited at New York State Village Law, Section 4-402 ("Clerk"), and Section 4-408 ("Treasurer"), as well as the duties recited in the Code of the Village of Skaneateles, Chapter 32, Article I (Village Clerk) and Article II (Village Treasurer).
B. 
A person appointed to this office shall previously have performed the functions of both Clerk and Treasurer.
In addition to those duties recited in Article IV of the New York State Village Law and Chapter 32, Articles I and II of the Village Code, the Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer shall perform the following functions and have the following duties:
A. 
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Village office, including office management and supervision of clerical staff.
B. 
Be responsible for all problem resolution, program planning, budget formulation, fiscal management and statistical recordkeeping.
C. 
Formulate and implement policies and procedures for the fiscal and general administration of the Village, under the direction of the Board of Trustees.
D. 
Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Board of Trustees from time to time.
